Your role: Puzzle Master – putting together all the many pieces that make up my dept. and making them fit into a nice cohesive picture.

Why: Love that time period and history

Favorite characters: Birgitte Nyborg

Why: She plays the Danish Prime Minister in the Danish series “Borgen.” I like how she handles the pressures/power of the office and how her personal convictions guide her decision-making.

Favorite book: “A Map of the World” by Jane Hamilton. Human tragedy and perseverance.

Favorite restaurant and dish: Smokehouse BBQ

Favorite home-cooked meal: Meatloaf with mashed potatoes

Memorable moment: When my granddaughter was born.

Place I would like to visit: Scotland & Ireland

What family means: Unconditional love and support

KEI is a great place because: We have a great group of hard working, down to earth people here.

Most meaningful accomplishment: Being fortunate enough to run a successful business for nine years. The chance to do something that I am passionate about and building the business from the ground up.

Most important lesson I have learned: Empathy and being able to actively listen.

What’s your dream job: Owning 20 acres and having a mini arboretum with perennial gardens and a petting zoo that is open to the public seasonally.
